Renew Driving License in Delhi

Offline

• Go to the nearest Regional Transport Office (RTO). Ensure the RTO falls under the jurisdiction of your present address.
• Fill Applicant Details. Complete (Form 9). You can download this form from the official Parivahan website or get from the RTO.
• If you are aged above 40 years or if you’re Driving Licence includes transport category vehicles, fill out Form 1-A (Medical Certificate) and have it signed by an authorised registered medical practitioner (MBBS doctor).
• Complete the application form along with the required documents: Current Driving Licence, Proof of Age (e.g., birth certificate, passport), Proof of Address (e.g., utility bill, Aadhaar card), Passport-sized photographs, Medical Certificate (Form 1-A), if applicable
• Pay the fee. After payment, you will receive a receipt.
• After that you will verify your application form and documents. Once the application and documents are verified, the renewed Driving Licence will be sent to your registered address via post.

Online 

• Visit the official website of Parivahan. 
• Select ‘Driving License Related Services’. The option can be found under ‘Online Services’. 
• Select ‘Apply for DL Renewal’. Select ‘Get DL Details’. 
• Choose the category, RTO, and state. 
• Choose ‘DL Renewal’. Submit the online form along with the relevant documents. 
• Go to the RTO and submit the relevant documents. Once the application form and documents have been verified, the DL will be sent to the registered address via post.

DL Renewal Fee in Delhi

• Type of DL: Includes fees for renewal with or without a grace period.
• With grace period: Rs.400
• After grace period: Rs.1,500 (including Rs.200 for a smart card, with an additional Rs.1,000 for each year or part thereof)
